Super Bowl LIV: It’s Time To Say HIKE in Miami

January 30, 2020 By: eilacomment

For all of my sport traveling gals….you know it’s that time of the year! Yep, the Super Bowl, one of the biggest sporting events of the year. And, if you are like me and love traveling and sports, then heading down to Super Bowl LIV in sunny Miami sounds like an awesome idea. Just so you know, the Super Bowl is more than a football game. It’s a week-long fan fest celebration. Heading down to Miami? Then, you’ll have a lot to see and do and I have some of the inside scoops.

For starters, this is the 1st time visitors and the community can participate in various Super Bowl events for free. At Bayfront Park, there will be several events to spark your interest. There will be the Huddle Down Community Stage, a public stage featuring local artists’ music, dance and visual art performances. Then, there’s The Road To The 11th, a showcase of a detailed history of the past 10 Super Bowl in Miami portraying the teams and the final score of each game. Next up is the Tailgate Town, a culinary stage where you experience a true tailgate. You’ll watch celebrity chefs and other food connoisseurs and experts heat up and sizzle the diverse and cultural cuisine of Miami. After that, head up to the Environmental Village, which brings awareness to our “go green” and eco-friendly movement and incorporates components related to our oceans and everglades. Just as you settle in, you must watch the freestylers and pros perform incredible water stunts like aerial tricks and backflips on jet skis, fly boards, and water jet backs. Wow!

When night time comes, enjoy the evening parades of hundreds of performers celebrating Miami’s rich cultural diversity from soca music, drummers, Brazilian samba dancers, and acrobatic acts. Also, the Amphitheater has several evening concerts featuring JPerry, Nu Deco Ensemble, and Walshy Fire Miami Orchestra. And cap the night off with an amazing firework show.

As life will have it, everything can’t be free. By far, there are some incredible events worth paying for. At the Diplomat Beach Resort, they will be hosting The Taste Of The NFL, an awesome culinary and sporting event coming together. Meet and greet with current NFL players, Hall of Famers and other NFL legends while enjoying signature dishes from America’s finest chefs. Inside of theMiami Beach Convention Center is the Super Bowl experience, a pro-football interactive theme park….games, shopping, virtual reality, Super Bowl ring display, personalize photos and the list goes on.

So, if you are heading down to the Super Bowl, you will have a blast regardless of who wins. And, if you can’t make it this year, then it’s always next year. Leave me your comments and thoughts!
