Hey there! My name is Laticia. And, I’m from a small town in Long Island, the suburbs just outside of NYC. It’s safe to say growing up close to a vibrant and exciting place as NYC sparked my interest for digging into a new adventure. And to top it off, my middle school made foreign language a mandatory curriculum. I wanted to take Italian but the classes conflicted with other major subjects. Then, I was convinced to take Spanish. So, I took up the challenge. I took my first Spanish class and fell in love with the language….
Surprisingly, I got an opportunity to study abroad in Spain at the University of Granada. I ate, slept, breathe and soaked in the Spanish culture. And, of course, I learned how to speak Spanish too 🙂 It was my first time leaving the country and I loved it! From there I was hooked. All I wanted to do was to go to new places and see the world. And, I tried to do just that……venturing out to see France, Italy, Switzerland, Beligum, England, Japan and other amazing places in the Caribbean. And, trust me, I’m not through yet.
Although there’s more of the world I want to see, I do need to work and save up some pennies. So in between vacations, I fill up my schedule with fun, inspiring and unique things to do. A few years ago, I went out on the limb and fueled one of my passions to start a Christian book club, which currently consist of the most incredible women I ever met. And believe it or not, the book club expanded into a online retail business called Christian’s Inspiration. I must say, Christian’s Inspiration challenged me in so many ways and I grew (and still growing) from the experience.
Now, I’m about to embark on a different venture. It’s something I’ve been doing for friends and family for a long time and I’m really passion about it. Drum roll please…..sharing my travel and adventure experiences with others and getting them to discover amazing experiences for themselves. I’m so excited about this new venture. I can’t wait to share with you all the really cool things to do and places to see around the world. I’m going to take you along with me. Hopefully, the day will come we can hang out together. I majored in Psychology in college but I think like an entrepreneur. I love professional basketball, ballet, acting, zumba and writing in my journal. And, I’m a big time TEA drinker.
